Wellbeing At Work
Overview
Return to your body to support a more centred, present and conscious approach to your delivery. Schedules and workload can be demanding, giving our energy to others exhausting and taking care of ourselves often feels impossible. These sessions are light touch, simple sessions for your team to learn quick and immediately effective strategies to self-care within a busy and demanding workplace.
Intended Outcomes
- Wellbeing and self-care are prioritised within your working day.
- Participants learn practical strategies that are immediately applicable in day to day life.
- The physical side effects of increased stress and anxiety at work can be addressed, understood and alleviated through a supported and guided approach.
The Return To The Body approach will foreground breath, alignment, active stillness, grounding and space to offer practical ideas for daily strategies you could employ in moments of stress or overwhelm to simply calm the body and mind into a more relaxed, conscious and resilient state. A great way to start the day, prepare for a meeting or tricky phone call or act as a calm end to the working day before returning to daily life.
What people say about us
We enjoyed the experience so much we asked Lucy back to provide the same workshop for some of the participants we work with.
After a session with Lucy I experienced a profound transformation in my sense of myself and personal power. My voice and sense of agency had a stronger quality to it. I was coming from within my whole body and space that I inhabit.
This training required me to focus on forgotten elements of my body, stance and movement, as well as considering how this impacts other people and spaces.
I felt great and it was a real contrast to my typically overly-thinky, heady self.
I enjoyed time to reconnect with myself and it was also a meaningful team experience, providing us all with some well needed time away from our usual workloads.
Lucy’s work has a substantial theoretical grounding which she makes wholly accessible and practical.
I believe Lucy’s work and personal style offers significant benefit to anyone in organisations, to help us to settle fully into ourselves and to liberate our full potential.
